Dear St. Monica Academy Families,

We would like to congratulate all of our St. Monica Academy 7th and 8th graders, who participated in the 2021 Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Science Exposition in the Virtual Poster Session in late May and early June.  We are so proud of you!  Here are the final results that we just received.

Gold Awards: Karolina Kyrych, Sela Nucum, Anna Quaranta, Aaron Serrano

Silver Awards: Dax Zaydan Hutchinson, Avery Lee

EPIC (Exceptional Project in Category) Award ($50):  Aaron Serrano (Materials Science)

We would also like to express our most sincere thanks to Ms. Alex Calcagno, Mr. Marc Colavitti, Ms. Maria Fricano, Mr. Bob Hilger, and Mrs. Nicole Petracco for serving as state fair judges.  We would also like to thank Mrs. Ronchi for her expertise and guidance in leading the Science Fair.  We appreciate all of the extra time and effort everyone put in to make this year's virtual state science fair a reality.
