Dear St. Monica Academy Families,
New Sam's Club Membership Fundraiser: Here's how it works:
1. Join Sam's Club by Thursday, November 4, 2021 using this link
2. 33% of your membership cost will be donated to St. Monica Academy.
3. You gain access to exclusive savings and perks.
If you've ever been curious about using Sam's Club to save on everyday expenses, now's a great time to try it out, knowing that you'll also be channeling much-needed funds to St. Monica Academy.
Student Absences: Please continue to report student absences to the school office along with symptoms by 9:00 a.m. each morning. All symptomatic individuals must remain home, regardless of vaccination status. Families are obligated to report Covid-19 diagnoses and/or close contact cases in your household to the school office. If symptoms last longer than 24 hours, an individual must receive a negative covid test or alternative medical diagnosis from your doctor prior to returning to school. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Coming Soon!
Reminders:
-Altar Serving is returning for anyone interested in grades 4-8. Altar Serving is a great ministry for our students to be directly involved in the Mass during the week or on the weekends. Please complete the attached forms and return: AltarServingInvitationPermissi
-Lost & Found Items: We have some items that often end up in the school office “lost & found” if your family has lost articles of clothing or water bottles. Tip: Please label all items as it is much easier to return property to the correct students.
-Our students and families have raised a total of $873 for Pediatric Cancer from a dress down day and Student Council gummy bear sales. Our donation will be sent to Lighthouse Family Retreat Center to support families in their time of need. Thank you all for our generosity!
Sports: Varsity Soccer Playoffs started yesterday and our St. Monica Varsity Mustang team earned an exciting 5-2 win against Northridge Prep last night. Brendan Lamb scored four goals and Jeremiah Torres turned in a stellar goal tending performance. Let’s keep it going Mustangs at the next playoff game on Saturday. Good Luck SMA!
