Dear St. Monica Academy Families,
I hope this message finds everyone well. My email this week is going to be full of information and praise.
I want to extend our sincerest gratitude for all those who joined us at our recent Trunk or Treat event. Your participation and support made it a fantastic afternoon for our school community. Congratulations to the "Scarebucks" display their themed car won the 7th grade class a pizza party, and was a truly impressive display!
Immediately, I want to congratulate the members of the Mustang Academic Challenge Team. Last week, these students competed at DePaul College Prep. This is the first time our students competed in such an event in several years. The team included: 6th grader Sophia Ingargiola and 8th graders Caden Cacal, Alexander Chorba, David Dorado, and Diggy Nucum. Well done!
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. We are immensely grateful for your overwhelming support and participation in our recent Gala, making it an unforgettable evening. Your presence and enthusiasm added to the charm of the event, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.
We would like your feedback about the Gala. You can use the link found here or the QR code below to complete the survey. We ask that you take this seriously as your input is key to the success of future events.
The deadline for entries for the our Pumpkin Decorating Contest is today, Wednesday, October 25th. Students, with their families, should have created a one-of-a-kind pumpkin depicting their favorite fairy tale, picture book, or novel character. The best decorated pumpkins will receive prizes! Pumpkins will be on display in the school foyer for viewing. Students and families must take their pumpkin home at the end of the day on Tuesday, October 31st.
If anyone is interested, we still have World’s Finest Chocolate that can be sold to help us continue our success with this annual fundraiser. If you are interested, please contact the main office. Our special lunch will be on Friday, October 27th.
Earlier this week we sent emails home about Ms. Fricano. Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she recovers. We hope to see her back in our building very soon.
Please visit the St. Monica Academy website to sign up for volunteer opportunities and to read about the importance of our fundraising efforts.
Go Mustangs! St. Monica, Pray for Us!
