Dear St. Monica Academy Families,
SMA is a buzz! Our students are as busy as ever and spring has provided us with the perfect opportunity to dive into our SEEDS curriculum hands-on. Our PreK students are currently enchanted with the chicks they are getting to watch hatch from their eggs. Kindergarten is learning all about vermicomposting and how worms work to make our gardens healthy, Second Graders are studying the weather and using tools to help measure, rain fall, wind speed and temperature, and that's just the start to all the wonderful activity happening around campus.
With May upon us our Eighth Graders are winding up their time here at SMA, selecting their high schools and getting ready for their next great adventure. Just a short while ago they were the little ones watching those eggs hatch, and now they are ready to leave the SMA nest. How time flies!
Check out some of the great news we have to share below (so the street resurfacing isn't exactly great news at the moment, but it will be once its done!), including the 80s Themed Parent's Night Out Details and Ticket Purchase and the Queen of Hearts Drawing 96 Order Form, the pot is up to $257,000!
Do you have some SMA news, events, pics or videos to share? Send them to marketing@stmonciachicago.com.
