Dear St. Monica Academy Families,

Be sure to ask your child about the Sports City Worldwide Character Lesson of the Day!  It’s a fitness theme all about inspiring students to be active and activate their character. Students will travel the world learning how to live and play with more character from REAL kid-athletes.

18^th Annual Haiku Festival Winners:  Two St. Monica Academy students earned Haiku Festival Awards.  Congratulations to Charlie Bagdonas for his Haiku for placing and earning $50 and to Sela Nucum for earning 1^st prize for her essay and a $100 prize.  The Awards Ceremony is set for Saturday April 9 at 10 a.m.  Way to go Charlie and Sela!

Student Council is Selling Easter Eggs!  Easter eggs will be sold during all lunch periods from April 4th-8th for 50 cents each. Each egg is filled with a candy surprise! Find a sticker and win a bonus treat! 

Molly Mondays:  Dress in "Molly Wear" or dress in Yellow and/or Orange each Monday indefinitely.  All students can come to school in Molly wear on Mondays to show school support for Molly Morris.  Please wear gym bottoms. No jeans please.

Scouting Program:  St. Monica Parish is actively trying to restart our Cub Pack 3943 for boys aged 5-10.  Boys over 10 or those of have completed 5^th grade are eligible to join our Boy Scout Troop 943.  Our Cub Pack 3934 needs dedicated leaders with an enthusiasm to enhance the fun and joy of Cub Scouts and scouting in general.  If you are interested in helping the unique adventures with our Cob Scouts from Tigers to Webelos, please contact Bob Hilger, Scout Liaison, 773-707-3027, [email protected]
