I hope this message finds you all well.

I want to begin this message by wishing you all a very blessed Easter. I hope you have a joyous Easter break filled with love, laughter, and joy. May this special time bring moments of reflection, renewal, and cherished memories for your family. Many will celebrate Easter and the break with egg hunts, family gatherings, or quiet moments of contemplation. However, I hope everyone keeps the true meaning of Easter close to their hearts. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in ultimate sacrifice, died for all of our sins. And, of course, upon His Resurrection, brought about salvation for us all. In Luke 24 we find: But at the daybreak on the first day of the week, they took spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb; but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were puzzling over this, behold, two men in dazzling garments appeared to them. They were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground. They said to them, “Why do you seek the living one among the dead? He is not here, but He has been raised. Remember what He said to you while He was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners and be crucified, and rise on the third day.” And they remembered His words. Then they returned from the tomb and announced all these to the eleven and to all the others…but their story seemed like nonsense, and they did not believe them. But Peter got up and ran to the tomb, bent down, and saw the burial cloths alone; then he went home amazed at what had happened.

Moving on to school news and business:

• The 5 Essentials Survey is finally closed. I want to thank all the members of our community so very much for providing this input. We had 100% of our teachers participate, 98% of our students, and a whopping 71% of our parents. To put that into perspective, the Archdiocese recommended hoping for a parent response rate of 20% for each school to get useful data. This is fantastic news, thank you very much for all your effort.  
• This afternoon we will be announcing our Mustangs of the Month for our students and teacher. We will share these with you when we return to school in April.  
• Re-registration remains in progress. Earlier, we sent home re-registration forms and the tuition matrix for the 2024-2025 year. Also, and this is important, to ease the registration process, if you are re-registering one student, but will have a new student joining us in the building next year (a re-registration + a new registration in any form), please contact Mrs. Reykjalin directly.    
• Boosterthon registration is here! If you haven’t, your student can now register for our St. Monica Academy Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $20,000 for general operations, with a significant portion going toward replacing another set of doors and our STEM curriculum. Registering is easy and free. Be sure to check the easy sharing functions on MYBOOSTER.COM to let others know how they can help support our school.  Thank you for working with us to make our school stronger.  We are grateful for your support!
