Dear St. Monica Academy Families,

21st Annual SMA Science Fair:  We are very proud of our 46 seventh and eighth grade students, who are participating tomorrow in the 21st Annual St. Monica Academy Science Fair.  They have all worked very hard over the last three months to complete their exceptional projects under the direction of Mrs. Ronchi, our middle school Science teacher.  Each student researched their topics, applied the scientific method by developing and performing experiments, analyzed data, created presentation boards, and will give presentations to judges.  Student Science Fair Projects will be on display during Catholic Schools Week Open House in late January for all to view.  We will have the results in the next week announcing students that will be moving on to the IJAS Regional Science Fair Sessions in early 2022.

SMA Christmas Program:  The St. Monica Academy Christmas program is scheduled for Wednesday, December 15^th in the Church.  The students will be performing at 10:00 a.m. for families in Preschool to 2^nd Grade.  A second session at 1:30 p.m. will be held for families in Grades 3-8.  There is no evening session.  If you have children in the both upper and lower grades, you can choose to come to either session. The program this year is “The Christmas Story” and will be led by our 1^st grade narrators and costumed actors.  All grades will be singing beautiful Christmas songs throughout the program.  Students are reminded to wear their Christmas best clothes (red and green colors) to school on December 15th.  It is a Dress Up Day!  We are looking forward to celebrating “The Christmas Story” will all of you!

Christmas Tree and Wreath Sale:  Make sure you pick up your Christmas Tree and/or Wreath between the Rectory and the Church on Fri. 12-3  6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sat., 12-4  12:00 - 2:30 & 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. and Sun. 12-5  10:00-12:30 p.m.  & 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.  We also need a few more volunteers this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to help distribute Christmas Trees and Wreaths.  Sign up here to Volunteer:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4da5af2da6fdc16-christmas
