August 25, 2021
Dear St. Monica Academy Families,
We are off to a great start to the 2021-2022 school year, and are excited to be back with the students! There is nothing better that the school alive with students learning and teachers teaching. We are blessed to have this opportunity for another successful school year. In order for us to continue on this path of success, we need everyone to continue to do their part to help ensure our first priority goal - to keep everyone safe. We will continue to focus on this goal as the year progresses.
School Masses: This year, we have moved our school Masses to Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. Most of our Masses will alternate between grade 5-8 attending and K-4. Mass details are printed on the school monthly calendars. Bringing the student body together as a whole at Mass will occur periodically throughout the year. The same protocols of masking and distancing will take place in the Church.
School Goals: Our school goals for 2021-2022 were developed by our school staff at our teacher meetings last week. They are created so we can continue to thrive in all three areas: Catholic Identity, Academic Excellence, and School Vitality/Operations. Here are the school goals.
