Dear St. Monica Academy Families,
We are thrilled to have had an amazing first day of school! The energy and enthusiasm that filled our hallways and classrooms were truly heartwarming. It was great to see students return to their school with smiles on their faces, eager to embark on a new year of learning, growth, and exploration.
For me, today was a testament to the incredible spirit of our school community. I was able to meet and shake hands with some of you, and I cannot wait to have the chance to work together with you for our students. Our dedicated teachers worked tirelessly all summer to ensure that today would be a smooth and welcoming start for all students.
As we begin our journey together, let’s keep in mind the importance of supporting one another. Whether it’s a helping hand to a classmate who may be finding their way or a word of encouragement to a teacher who is guiding our students, we all play a vital role in creative a positive, nurturing, and united environment.
Throughout the year, we will face challenges and celebrate victories. It’s in these moments that we will truly come together as a community. As I have stated, we encourage open communication and collaboration between teachers, parents, and students to ensure that every member of our school family feels valued.
Remember, education is not just about the acquisition of knowledge, but it’s also about fostering friendships, building character, and developing skills that will serve us throughout our lives. And, at St. Monica Academy, let us never forget we should live those lives with the example of Jesus in our minds and in our hearts.
Let me use this opportunity to remind everybody that all families should read the family handbook and bring in the acknowledgement form which can be found here.
Thank you for entrusting us with the education and growth of your children. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to a year filled with meaningful experiences, achievements, memories, and more.
Here’s to an incredible school year ahead!
Go Mustangs!
