Dear St. Monica Academy Families,
I hope this message finds you all well and in high spirits. I am prayerful that the Labor Day holiday brought you all some relaxation and adventure. I want to take a moment today not only to celebrate the St. Monica community, but also to challenge it.
Our school is meant to be more than just a place of learning; it is a vibrant and supportive community where students, parents, teachers, and staff come together to create something truly special. I have only been here for a very short time, and I have repeatedly spoken to you about being Gospel-driven, united, and excellent. But, many individuals have shared that over the years they have witnessed countless achievements, moments of resilience, and unwavering support for one another. So, to me, the celebration is those three things I speak about often, and how they were here long before me.
As we continue to nurture this exceptional environment together, we face new challenges that require our collective efforts and commitment. One crucial way we all can contribute is through fundraising. Your generosity and dedication to fundraising efforts can help us achieve great things for this community.
By participating in our fundraising initiatives, you directly impact our students. That impact is obvious when one looks at the quality of education, increased opportunities, the upgrading of facilities, the support for extracurricular activities, our investment in resources….one can go on for quite some time. Look at things this way---every contribution of time, treasure, and talent brings us closer to our shared goals.
On Wednesdays, an envelope goes home and information is provided about our fundraising efforts. These have included candy sales, dine out nights, our gala, and things of that nature. I ask that you seriously and sincerely look at these things and consider joining us in one way or another. Even the smallest contribution of time, treasure, and talent can make a monumental difference.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who has already supported some of our fundraising efforts. Your commitment to our school’s success is truly inspiring.
Let’s continue to work together, shoulder to shoulder, build an even stronger and brighter future for our St. Monica Academy community. Your support makes all the difference. Proverbs 27:17 says: Iron is sharpened by iron, so one person sharpens another. Your collective support makes all the difference. Thus, if you have not had the chance to do so yet, I encourage you to join us in our fundraising endeavors. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and the vitality of our school. I ask that you read this letter to have a greater understanding of our fundraising efforts.
Thank you for being an essential part of our wonderful St. Monica Academy family. Let’s keep striving for excellence and creating an environment where every student can thrive.
Go Mustangs!
St. Monica, Pray for Us!
In His Name,
