Dear St. Monica Academy Families,

Several of our St. Monica Academy students have winning and honorable mention entries in the 2019 Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s Poster, Poetry, and Prose Contest.  Top Winning Awards were earned by Penelope (Penny) Mahon for Poetry/Prose and Paige Nacpil for her Poster!  Special Recognition Awards were earned by Maeve Brunell for Poetry/Prose, Sophia Lobo for Poetry/Prose, Maria Aiello for her Poster, and James Bober for his Poster.  Well Done!

Penny and Paige are invited to the awards presentation and exhibit of: Green Transportation – Keeping the Air Clean for a Healthy Future!  It will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at noon at the Old State Capitol in Springfield.  Each winner will be announced and presented with a ribbon and a certificate of achievement.  The awards presentation will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. and the event will conclude after group pictures; no later than 2:00 p.m.  Congratulations!
