So, What is it? “The Herd” is a group of lawn yard signs designed to look like blue Mustangs, St. Monica’s Mascot. They are a fun way to wish someone a happy birthday, congratulations, or just for fun to send to friends.
How do we order them? You use this link: The Herd or QR code. It will take you to a
webpage where you will put in your address or the address of the friend(s) you’re ordering The Herd for. You will indicate what sign phrase you would like to include. Once we receive your order, we will email you to confirm the details for your Herd arrival. The order will include ten (10) horses, two (2) horse crossing signs, a Herd Message sign and a St. Monica Academy sign. *Please note if you wish to have them return for other visits you will need to place new orders each time.
At what times throughout the year will The Herd be available? The Herd will gallop into town in mid April. They stick around until Thanksgiving when it will be time for them to find greener, warmer pastures. The Herd will be unavailable December through March. So, they won’t be around in January when I’d want them for my child’s birthday - What can I do? You can celebrate ½ birthdays! So, plan to request your Herd arrival for sometime
in July!
How long do they stay on my lawn? The Herd will be delivered by ranchers and remain on your pasture for two days, unless you specifically request them for only one day. Please note we cannot accommodate for more than two days, because The Herd will have to ride off to another ranch.
What if I don’t want them on my lawn? You can purchase “Equine Insurance.” This will ensure that no matter who orders the Herd, it won’t be delivered to your pasture. The Equine Insurance will keep your lawn protected from The Herd for one school year.
I want to FILL the lawn with the mustangs - how does that work? Let’s talk about it. As long as we have them ready to go (the Herd hasn’t been claimed by other homes) we can add up to twenty (20) horses to you or your friend's lawn.
How far in advance should I place my order for The Herd? The Herd requires a minimum of 48 hours advance notice to be groomed and ready for your pasture. Some accommodations can be made to arrive in less notice, but this cannot be guaranteed.
How will they be removed? The ranchers will come to remove them from your lawn or your friend's lawn. Please do not put them away in stables, or send them to any other pastures.
