ACT Aspire Testing Week for grades 3-8.
Monday April 1st through Friday April 5th:
Students in grades three through eight will take the ACT Aspire Test, a standardized assessment to measure student performance. During the testing period, students will complete tests in 5 key areas: English, math, reading, science and writing.
The ACT Aspire Test will be administered across the Archdiocese in April. Testing is only for a short time each day (65-85 minutes per day) and varies slightly by grade level. The ACT Aspire Test is aligned to more rigorous curriculum standards that require students to respond to more complex questions in order to prepare them for high school and beyond.
It is vital that all students get enough sleep and eat a good breakfast on the test days. We also encourage students to avoid being absent barring any serious illness. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to our students taking the ACT Aspire Test during the week of April 1st.
