Dear St. Monica Academy Families,
Boosterthon: Today, students learned in an all-school video about CARING from Caroline, a horseback rider from Atlanta, Georgia. Caring is all about making others feel honored and loved! You can watch all the videos on FunRun.com. Also, we have a fun new challenge for tonight! It is called the “Treat your Teacher” challenge! We love our teachers, so, the class from PK-4th and 5th-8th that bring in the most NEW donations tonight, will earn each of their teachers a gift card! Thank you for any consideration to support our school!
Halloween School Guidance 2020: (to be celebrated on October 30th): Halloween will be here at the end of the month. Each class (cohort) will enjoy the day safely and separately in their own way. We all want this day to be as fun and safe as possible, so we have made several guidelines to follow:
There will not be a Halloween Parade next week for younger children. Friday, October 30th will be a normal day academically with all protective and safety measures in place. We want the children to have fun and enjoy the season of Halloween, while maintaining structure and safety for all students and staff.
Absences: Please continue to report any absence to the school office at 773-631-7880 and fill out the following Google Form by 9:00 a.m. each morning when your child is absent or sick. If we do not get a call from you, we will call you by 9:00 a.m. Again, click the link to report all absences along with symptoms and call the office: Absence Google Form for St. Monica Academy
