Dear St. Monica Academy Families,

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. We are immensely grateful for your overwhelming support and participation in our recent Gala, making it an unforgettable evening. Your presence and enthusiasm added to the charm of the event, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.

At St. Monica Academy, we are committed to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth. We firmly believe that excellence should not be confined to the four walls of our school but should radiate beyond, influencing the world at large. Our students possess the potential to excel not only in academics but also in various facets of life. They are our future leaders, and it is our collective responsibility to nurture their talents and help them become excellent individuals who make a difference everywhere they go. This is our collective concept of excellence always and everywhere.  

We encourage our students to uphold the values of respect, empathy, integrity, and dedication as they navigate their educational journey and beyond. By demonstrating these qualities, they can be excellent, not only in their academic pursuits, but also in their interactions with the world. Remember, excellence is not limited to a specific place or time; it is a way of life, it is always and everywhere.  

Let the success of the Gala inspire all of us to continue supporting and empowering our students in their quest for excellence.

Some items to bring to your attention this week:

• Information was sent home about the absentee and retake picture day that will occur on Friday, October 20th. If you missed these, please ask your student to come to the office and receive another reminder flier. 
• The Trunk-or-Treat will take place on Saturday, October 21st.  Admission is free, but concessions will be sold. Concession revenue will benefit the 8th grade dance. We still need a few cars to sign-up to hand out candy.  It will be a great time. If you’re interested, please sign up here.
• Last week information was sent home about our pumpkin decorating contest. If a student plans on participating, he or she must bring their pumpkin character in on Wednesday, October 25th.  
• Order forms and payment for the SMA special lunch, Chili Mac Attack, are due on Friday, October 20th.  
• Please visit the St. Monica Academy website to sign up for volunteer opportunities and to read about the importance of our fundraising efforts.
