Dear St. Monica Academy Families,

Our St Monica Fun Run kicked off today, and we are thrilled about this year’s program!

This year, our entire school is raising funds for general school support. Our goal is to raise $20,000, and, if you’d like to, we are inviting YOU to help!

Here’s how you can support St. Monica Academy:

Region 2 Paper Session - Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Horizon Science Academy - Belmont

Gold Awards: Serena E, Natalia K, and Magdaleno N

Silver Award: Caden C

Superior Achievement Paper Awards (Four one-day passes to the Museum of Science and Industry and a $100 Amazon gift card): Natalia K and Magdaleno N          

Serena, Natalia, and Magdaleno have qualified for the State Paper Session at Southern Illinois University, in Carbondale, on Friday, April 28, 2023, and Caden has qualified as an Alternate.

Region 2 Poster Session - Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Northeastern Illinois University

Gold Awards: Caden C, Serena E, Micayla F, Natalia K, Isabella L, Magdaleno N, Mia R, and Kaitlin V

Awards of Excellence (medallions):  Caden C, Serena E, Natalia K, Isabella L, and Magdaleno N

American Science and Surplus ($20 gift certificate): Magdaleno N

Caden, Serena, Natalia, Isabella, Magdaleno, Mia, and Kaitlin have qualified for the State Poster Session at Southern Illinois University, in Carbondale, on Saturday, April 29, 2023, and Micayla has qualified as an Alternate.

Congratulations to our young scientists and best wishes to them in their future endeavors!
