The Informer

The Informer serves as the official, student-run newspaper of St. Monica Academy. Committed to journalistic integrity and authentic storytelling, our student journalists chronicle everything from campus highlights to local community events.

Student-Driven Journalism

From start to finish, our student staff take a hands on approach in each edition. 

• Story Pitching: Journalists pitch original ideas and identify the events that mean the most to the student body.

• Investigative Interviews: Students conduct interviews with faculty, peers, and community members. 

• Editorial Writing: each journalist drafts, edits, and refines every article to maintain a high standard of student journalism.

Through The Informer, students develop their skills for collaborative writing, investigative research, and graphic communication. Several editions are produced each year and sold in each lunch period and special events.
