Science Fair

Middle school students at SMA recently participated in the annual Illinois Junior Academy of Sciences (IJAS) Science Fair. Through this program, our students master the fundamentals of the scientific method, applying their knowledge by designing, executing, and defending their own original experiments.

This year, seven standout Mustangs advanced to the local IJAS Regional Science Fair. Demonstrating exceptional research and presentation skills, all seven students earned top scores, propelling them to the prestigious IJAS State Science Fair Competition in Carbondale, IL.
